A fire broke out at Mumbai International Airport in India

Air India Flight AI-747 with 75 passengers was preparing to fly from Mumbai to Jamnagar. The plane caught fire when it was pushed back.

Airport officials said the fire was brought under control within a short time.

There was no damage to the airport. Besides, the passengers were not harmed. Although a major accident could have been avoided, the Jamnagar-bound flight took off from Mumbai Airport 20 minutes later than scheduled.
