The number of Omicron infected patients in the country is three

This information was published on the site of Global Initiative on Sharing All Influencers (DISAID) in Germany on Monday (December 26). Through this, the number of Omicron infected patients in the country reached three.

Earlier on December 11, a new type of corona, Omicron, was detected in the bodies of two members of the national women’s cricket team who returned to Zimbabwe.

According to GISAID, samples of the Omicron infected person were collected on December 23.
The Institute of Developing Sciences and Health Initiative (AIDESI) conducts its sample genome sequencing. The infected person is 56 years old and he is male. He is currently staying in Dhaka.
